With great fondness I remember Australia's last Test Cricket Tour to Pakistan, way back in 1998, as one of a handful of Australian spectators to have ticked this box. Since then we have sadly played Pakistan away in Colombo, Sharjah, London, Leeds, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Pleasingly, with Pakistan having ticked all their security boxes, the Australia Cricket Team is tantalizingly close to returning to the now vastly unknown cricket land of Pakistan and so shall we; Australia scheduled to play 2 Test Matches, 3 ODI's and 3 T20's in February 2022.
My last visit was 11 years ago when preparing for yet another cancelled Test Tour and with tourism generally going elsewhere I can't imagine there has been too much 'social change' in the country. There would not have been much investment in tourism infrastructure and I would not be surprised if this snooker table is still on a Multan road-side. For your sake, as I prepare the best Experience possible, I sincerely hope so, as I do for similar unique sights across the land, which makes for much excitement and anticipation for an incredible time.
Rack 'em up, and chalk your queues in readiness for the next Australian Cricket Tour to Pakistan, finally! I will visit Pakistan within the next 12 months to prepare so your Experience will be very much up to date!
