Spice Isle Grenada

I met Donney Best when in Grenada during Hurricane Beryl in June 2024, we were both stuck on Grand Anse Beach waiting for life and the airport to returm to normal.

It was fortuitous for us both as Donney is one coolest shoes sashaying Grenada, and I wouldn't want anyone else to look after us.

Setting off after breakfast on Wednesday, Donney will take you to signature sites & tastes of Grenada on a very relaxed 7 hour drive through the spice isle, and quaint but hilly capital, St George's.

Colourful buildings, murals, and people are everywhere throughout Grenada, with the proud national colours of green, yellow, and red dominating the lush green rainforest spectrum.

In no particular order we'll visit:

• Spice Market
• Fort Frederick
• Annandale Waterfalls
• Tri-Island Chocolate
• Clark Court Rum Distillery
• Mark's Sports Bar For Rum Tasting
• Nutmeg Museum
• Scotty's for lunch for the National dish of Grenada, 'Oil Down', a spectacular stew of salted meat, chicken, vegetable, breadfruit, callaloo and coconut milk.

This will be a busy but ripping day, getting you back by 4pm for our dinner at 6pm.
