3 Things To Do In Afghanistan
- 1 - Buddha Niches
- 2 - Friday Mosque
- 3 - Band-e-Amir National Park
We have never visited Afghanistan, only looked at it from the Khyber Pass on the Pakistan Border (above). We likely won’t have an Australian Cricket Tour To Afganistan in our time, though you can still visit.
On our own research, when the opportunity aries, we would love to see the 3 above, with another 86 things to do, time permitting!
Afghanistan Tourism website stated 20,000 tourism visas were issued annually, and '89 things to do' in the country. What nation can confidently list ‘everything’ to do in their country?

If you embark on the unique adventure, valid, relative, and up-to-date travel information is found on Lonely Planet and TripAdvisor.
Until International Cricket is played there, Australian Cricket Tours To Afghanistan will be played in neutral venues such as India, Pakistan, and the UAE.

(Cricket Australia has invested millions into incredible training and playing facilities at Marrara Sporting Complex, yet don't use them (enough)).
For the sake of cricket’s youngest test nation, I hope it won’t be too long until we play there.
Although you can fly to Kabul from Dubai with Fly Dubai and Afghanistan's Kam Air, I'd love to cross the border from Pakistan through the Khyber Pass, a journey that until 2021 could be done daily by public bus from Peshawar
Until we can visit and report on your extra-curricular activities in Kabul and beyond, enjoy our preferred sights of Afghanistan’s host nations.
