For someone that has confidently toured Pakistan 5 times, I'd love to see Australia play Pakistan on their home soil once again (it will be soon!) but instead we return to the deserts & bling of Arabia. I have experienced the UAE many times for both pleasure & cricket, the last cricket visit being 2014, so look forward to another 3 weeks in the Emirates... this time with you!

Touring the Emirates is exciting, especially Dubai; the vibrant playground of the Middle East. Go near and far to experience the world’s tallest building, slickest water slides, largest theme parks, snowboarding, jet-skiing, parasailing, BASE jumping, scuba diving, sky diving (indoor and outdoor!), zip-lining, golfing, motor racing, horse racing, camel racing, and the list goes on. That's if you can navigate your way out of the giant glistening shopping malls complete with aquariums and cinema's and near countless cafes, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Perhaps you prefer to laze in our 5 hotel pools or on outstanding Barasti Beach. This is your Experience!!

Abu Dhabi on the other spectrum is more lazed and traditional. As quoted by Abu Dhabi Tourism; "Abu Dhabi is firmly rooted in Arabia's Islamic traditions, creating a shining example of Islam's true commitment to tolerance and hospitality. The combination of international influences and a strong commitment to local heritage has created an intriguing mix of new and old." And you won't find a closer mix than our hotel, Abu Dhabi's Grand Old Lady - 'Le Meridien', on our private beach opposite shining Al Maryah Island.

As quiet as Abu Dhabi may be by comparison, the Le Meridien has a little culinary Dubai rolled into 'The Village' of bars, pubs, and restaurants out the back. There is no need to venture elsewhere in Abu Dhabi post game other than our hotel where you can dine by the water on Italian, Greek, Malaysian, Brazilian, and Thai, if not in Captain's Pub or NRG Sport's Bar. Of course, we have Club Lounge Cocktail Hour to enjoy straight after play firstly.

We have created Experiences for the two Test Matches and 4-day Tour Game only. If you are doing the Tour Game, we are staying in the same outstanding hotel on Barasti Beach. If you would like to do 1, 2, or 3, Twenty 20 matches after the 2nd Test, please let us know.

From a tourism perspective we have not included any sightseeing or attraction. As many are returning, it is unfair to include trips you don't want or need to do (again). With so many things available it is hard to include one or two adventures without disappointing someone, so we'll leave your preferred sightseeing up to you. We will be happy of course to help organise anything for you at the time.

Like all Experiences, our focus is bringing you together to enjoy the great game with awesome people. The U.A.E. however is far from the affordability of our recent South Africa Experience, so if you are travelling alone consider twin sharing to help bring your costs down (compared with a single room). This includes travelling with us to and from the game, to Abu Dhabi for the 2nd Test, and sharing cabs to places before and after play. Notwithstanding you can get bored quickly without the fun and larks of our relaxed approach to cricket!

If you are a bloke travelling alone and you book ‘twin share’, you will be automatically partnered to share a room with another lone blokey cricket aficionado. If you are a beloved 'sheila' and travelling alone, please book 'single' and let us know your preference to twin share. If after you book we find you a roomie we will refund the difference between single and twin sharing.

If of course you just prefer more privacy, then please book ‘single’ and you will have your own room. If you are travelling as a 'couple' just book 'twin share' and we will allocate you a 'double room'.

If you're staying elsewhere yet still want to enjoy the game with us, take our Match Ticket & Dinner Experience. Join us for dinner on the night before each match and the night of Day 5, and many post game soirees. We’ll get your match tickets and commemorative shirts and happily transfer you to and from the game. You must make your own way to our hotel first however unless we are passing your hotel and can pick you up on the way to the game!
