**This bespoke safari is hosted by Safari Reinhardt, a family owned private safari operator. Reinhardt and his wife Maria, along with guides Charl & Wendy, hosted me for 6 days last November 2025. Such was their quality and personal focus, I've no hesitation in asking Maria & Reinhardt to look after us in October. This cool safari is limited to just 30!**

Between walking safaris, sunrise, sunset, and night drives, river cruises, mountain view-points, pot holes, and a spot of (optional) golf, you will see the best of Kruger, which is the only place that supports viable breeding populations of all Africa's Big 5.
The Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, and Buffalo were named The Big 5 by 19th century hunters who deemed them the 5 most dangerous and difficult animals to hunt on foot.

Established on May 31, 1926, Kruger National Park's enormity & popularity is such that the park is now served by three airports, with international flights to Madagascar, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, and domestic flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.
You couldn't do that when we first visited in 1997, you had to hit the road!

When you fly from Australia to enjoy Kruger with us, we will meet you at Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo and transfer you to the hotel for one night. The next day we're back to O.R. Tambo for our 1 hour flight to this mighty park, starting with 3 nights in Skukuza.

Skukuza is home to the 'Wildest Course in the World'. This unfenced 9 hole beauty is renowned for hippos, lions, and other wild elements lounging on the greens and fairways. They were rebuilding all the double-tee boxes when I last played, so I'm excited to return.

After three nights at impressive Skukuza Lodge, we will drive north through the park, to enjoy 3 nights at Radisson Safari Lodge Hoedspruit (Hood-Sprayt) and where we see a different side of the wild in Private Game Reserves.

Unembeza, though in a gated community, is still home to roaming wild animals. It is awesome to wake to the sound of the wild outside shuffling past your chalet, or seeing Giraffe and Kudu walking down the street.

We'll visit Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, and a take full day trip to Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, and Bourke's Luck Pot Holes.

Though everyday is planned, it is not 'mapped' per se, with the daily itinerary remaining fluid. You don't have to do every game drive, and what we see one day, may bring adjustment to tomorrow.

Reinhardt will create every opportunity to see all the animals, but wild animals do what wild animals do, and if they don't want to be seen, then that is just bad luck.
